Comment:
AKA "The World's Saddest Songs Vol. I". This mix took forever to compile and I eventually just bit the bullet and made it because I promised it to some friends. This mix was inspired by watching the "Royal Tenenbaums", hence the Nico and Cat Stevens tracks that everyone has on their mixes nowadays. The plan was to collect super sad acoustic stuff along the lines of Tim Buckley and Nick Drake but those songs are little rays of sunshine compared to the stuff near the end. I didn't list this under "depression" because I consider sadness to be distinct from depression. Collecting sad songs is a hobby of mine so I'm sure there'll be many more volumes to come. Title from the Arab Strap song.Feedback:
Very nice mix. Cool selections.
Very sad, very nice.
Sad indeed. LOVE the Donovan, Nico, Nick Drake and Big Star tracks.

This is great. Sorry I missed it before. And your mix should finally be in the mail by next week.
Oh, sad songs is all I know. This is so wonderful. Big Star, Nico, Nick Drake, and my favorite Bob Dylan song(which isn't said lightly). It's such a simple, but sad song. Again, excellent work.
