Comment:

80 minutes of everyone's favorite (post-?) riot grrls, with nothing from their utterly forgettable first release. For lo-fi upon request earlier this year (sorry I forgot about this one, dude). No obscurities here, really... if aMy from this site had actually honored her end of our trade back in the first third of this year, I could have included them. Last track cut: "Male Model". Others that I'd have liked to have included: "O2", "Get Up", "Anonymous", "Stay Where You Are", "Start Together" and "Light Rail Coyote".

I agree with you, I think they get better with each record...nice work, Rob!

Hmm... I'm sure that's not what I meant, sport, although I appreciate your positive feedback. My favorite album (by quite a bit) is Dig Me Out. And I'm not fond of the new album at all, although I think that the songs that I included are good.

I like it Rob! Corin Tucker's somewhat shrill vocal style has prevented me from totally getting into this band, but this is still something I'd love to hear. Could you toss it on the proverbial pile?

I like it Rob! Corin Tucker's somewhat shrill vocal style is one of the best things about this band (sorry Ion ;-). My knees wobble when she warbles. Her voice also reminds me of the Au Pairs for some reason. Anyway, great mix Rob.

Don't recall the request (shot the ol' short term memory, ya know), but welcome it nonetheless. Dig Me Out was one of those rare current things that remind me of everything I love about rock. After that, I've struggled to find something to like. As always, I'd expect only the finest picks from you Rob.

I've only heard a couple of their tracks on different mixes I've been sent. I liked them very much especially "You're no rock n roll fun". I'll have this one at some point, please Rob

hmm ... i leave the country, and you post a sleater-kinney mix with a bunch of the same tracks i used on mine and a _remarkably_ similar title. if i didn't know better (i.e. that you've never seen/heard the mix in question, that you've known about s-k far longer than i have, and that it's just a cool lyric), i'd think you missed me or something. *grin* nice.

i just saw them a few nights ago here in Cleveland, and I have to say they got outplayed by their opener (the Quails) they've just lost something in recent years i guess...
