Comment:
Okay. Its not technically a goth mix. I don't know enough about goth music, or have enough in my collection to make an all goth CD.But I tried to combine goth attidude, wrist-slitting makeupwearing music, with lovey romantic songs. Crystal Ship's the best example of what I was after. I could have done a better job, but it was a last minute thing.
I made it because I heard my goth friend had gotten dumped by her boyfriend, and she always said she would go out with me if they ever broke up. I went home and made this mix to seduce her into becoming my bride of darkness. Before I got a chance to give it to her, I found out she was dating one of my friends. So I was going to smash the CD to bits and never post this...but I'm proud of it...so what the hell.
Feedback:
How about some Southern Death Cult or Swans? That'd be nice.
Tori is too goth. And so are the pixies. and the smiths. yeah.
Well, more to the point, it isn't what goth is, but what it isn't. And you did a good job. Swans would definitely convey that lovey-romantic-death feel though.

I've never even heard of the Swans. I'll have to check them out now. Thank you for educating me.
