This is a loose narrative between a male/female relationship on its last legs. The woman is strong, the man is taking her for granted. Tracks 1 and 2 have the woman confronting her man in a very awkward moment. Track 3 is the male, acting arrogant after being caught in the act. Track 4 is an out-of-left-field flashback scene. Track 5 goes back to the male trying to change the subject by trying to start a conversation about Big Star. Track 6 is the female having her first strong doubts about the future of her relationship. Track 7 has the male reminiscing about a childhood sweetheart. Track 8 is the male having an acid flashback. Track 9 has the atom bomb storyline of "1945" representing both the female dumping her man and the male having reality hit him in the face. Track 10 is late one Friday night, the male, drunk out of his mind, trying to serenade the female outside her apartment window. Track 11 is about the female moving with her life. The next three tracks see the male on Saturday night, bitching about his failed relationship (12), trying to hit on girls (13), and acting all arrogant even though he couldn't score (14). Track 15 represents the female confronting the male the next day and telling him what she thinks of him (it isn't pretty). Track 16 represents the male telling her what he thinks of her (he's trying to kiss her ass). Tracks 17 and 18 are the male daydreaming again - boasting about whatever (17) and imagining himself ordering the female around (18). Track 19 is the female reminiscing back upon a less hectic time in her life, her high school days. Track 20 is the male finding a weak spot in the female's psyche. By track 21 he's thinks he's gotten in her good graces again and lapses into another daydream about the two of them engaging in hot lovemaking in track 22. The last three tracks have the female snapping the male out of his latest daydream and, with the last track, telling him off with finality.
