Ok, I have two complaints. First of all, what does Riot Grrl have to do with lesbianism? Secondly, there are more than a few artists on here who are not

Obviously it isn't all riot grrrl. The title is a reference to something that the receiver of the tape said to me once. It's an introduction to female artists for someone who only listened to bands like Korn and Tool, if you are so wrapped up in explanations and labels.
As a lesbian, I find it insulting that anyone would deny that riot grrrl is a part of "our" culture. Aside from that, Linzer, you said absolutely nothing about the music. It's a tape. Comment on the songs, not the title, especially since you don't know how to interpret the word "you".
As far as I am concerned, anyone who actually knows Autoclave is cool.

I'll avoid the riot grrrl controversy, and simply tell you that some great bands can be found on this mix. Anything to ween your boyfriend off the Korn and Tool is fine by me!
I'm with Ion, lotsa great stuff on here, both riot grrrl and riotous girlishness. Love the Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, PJ Harvey and Velocity Girl especially.

This is a very very good mix...and it looks like Linzer is way outvoted (outed???). Anyways, including Cyndi Lauper is a superb choice; few rarely appreciate the punk/grrl underneath the pop bubble.
I won't go into the lesbian/riotgrrrl-stuff. Some of the very best female artists are on this mix. Your boyfriend should be a very happy man.
