so, i was thinking about how exactly i could get someone who wasn't into the tragically hip to fall in love with them. the thought of making them listen to every album crossed my mind, but that would be a little overwhelming. so i thought i'd pick my two favorite songs from each of their albums and create a cd out of it.

well, that turned out to be harder than i thought. i couldn't narrow it down! on some albums i loved a handful of songs, and on others i could only find one i loved more than the rest.

here's my list. it's a work in progress. the album title is in brackets next to the song title.

note: i included songs from "coke machine glow" which is gord downie's solo album. i couldn't help it.. they rock my world, even if they're not technically by the hip. ("to cry about" is a cover, in fact..)
