Comment:

one of the nosy music snots at the indie store looked thru my purchases and told me i had good taste in depressing heroin rock. i got inspired to show how my music likes are really more diverse than that. uh... :P i only intended to make disc 1, but after that was done there was stuff I wished there was room for. so they just spilled over onto a 2nd cd. the block of covers on the 1st cd (5-7) was unplanned, and i put a few repeat songs from mixes i made that i don't have anymore. apologies to the pernice brothers for nicking their album title :P (thanks to peter d. for ben folds, & kevin for the innocence mission)

haha, 'depressing heroin rock'. my housemates refer to it as 'sad bastard music' (high fidelity reference, right?)

also - i've decided that jeff buckley's cover of hallelujah is to be played at my funeral. i've written it into my will.

hallelujah was sang at my bosses wedding. that was the first time i'd heard it. i listened to the lyrics later and... hmm... i'm confused.

huh. i know there are versions of hallelujah with different lyrics, but still...that's a peculiar song choice for a wedding....
