this started out as trying to be a downbeat, slightly jazzy mix but i don't even know what the hell happened to it. sort of became this eclectic mix of a few genres i really seem to enjoy, but all the songs are really nice, slow tempo grooves and it flows really well. good for smoking joints to i suppose, if you're into that sort of thing. title is a variation of a lyric from the black star track. the actual lyric reads 'weed smoke traces the skyline' (i think). this mix was for my friend emmy who is vehemently against drugs, so i figured i'd make the necessary adjustment. nothing too special about the cover on this one either. i think i'm getting lazy. but who knows. :)
