methinks the song is "The Glory of Love" by A New Found Glory off the "From the Screen to Your Stereo" EP...

Excellent song selections! I know I'd get along fine with anyone who likes Lisa Germano, Cat Power, Erin McKeown, Tanya Donelly, etc.

By the way, I've heard a lot about Kathy McCarty. Any suggestions on what I should seek on her in terms of albums/songs?

More Teeth Than Wisdom (love the name), I only know of two CDs by Kathy McCarty. I own "Sorry Entertainer." My favorite other than the one I put on this mix is the title track. All 7 songs are top knotch though. THe other CD "Dead Dog's Eyeball: The Songs of Daniel Johnston" I know only from mix tapes I have received. My introduction to KM was the song "Living Life." It was love at first listen. Other favorites are "Rocket Ship", "Life in a Monkey Zoo", and "Museum of Love." When she wants, she can make her voice bounce like no other. It is a beautiful thing.

Awesome! I'll be sure to look for her, as I've only heard good things about her. Thanks for the recommendations (and the compliment). Keep rocking.
