bumper to bumper is not only taken from the tony schiavone monologue that opens this mix, but it's also a pretty good description of what goes on inside.

however, it's not a cassette... it's a cd. jeff hayward, the mix's recipient, wanted a cd. i'm a diehard taper, because i love my old marantz tape deck. i caved to cds, when i downloaded a mp3 mixer, so i can crop and crossfade to my heart's content.

of course, this immediately meant i had to go way overboard on the mixing... see: the first part of side one, which is like eight tracks in ten minutes. not a perfect job, but fun as all hell, and part of the charm. see also: my eddie vedder medley, composed of about a minute of each song.

side one (yes i know it's a cd) of this mix demands turning your bass up a long way. side two of this mix demands headphones and a bus ride at 1 AM.

crucial taunt is cassandra's band from wayne's world.
