the title is from a John Mayer quote from a VH1 show. that line just stuck with me, I guess. these are the songs and/or bands that have influenced my songwriting and inspired me the most. I realize some of the song choices are a bit odd, but these are all songs that at one point or another helped me along with the songwriting process and still influence me today. all these songs are from my CD/tape collection, and I fully intend on making this tape someday. can you imagine I had to leave some bands/songs out? this had nothing to do with songs I "liked" or bands that I love. I thought up this mix in my head last night while taking a bath, and letting my mind wander. okay. I'll shut up now.
