Hey man. I love your Smiths (my fave song of theirs), Blur, Pulp, Joy Division, and Hives picks. Definitely enjoyed your title, as well.

Hey, you're right about "Back Door Santa." Oh, Clarence. However, I will not add it to my mix, because that would make it *our* mix and I refuse to do that before we at least get the joint checking accounts and prenup hammered out. Anyway, you've got some good tastes. Have you seen "24 Hour Party People"? I see you're a big JD/New Order fan, and I've noticed you using some of the other goodies from the soundtrack as well. Just curious. And the Pet Shop Boys are just lovely... guilty pleasure of mine, I must admit .

I don't understand the fact that you can't see why someone would consider the Pet Shop Boys a guilty pleasure...there's something about them that's so marvelously gay and loveable that just makes me feel like I shouldn't be enjoying it, that's all. I'd agree about "24 Hour Party People," though. I enjoyed it much more for Steve Coogan's performance than for much educational value. And since you like all of this good music and stuff, I'd recommend you get your hands on some Afghan Whigs stuff if you haven't already.. "Gentlemen" if you're in the mood for some crazy intense evil breakup music, "1965" if you want to hear some horny, soulful rock'n'roll. I hope my future mixes are as fantabulous as my first two have undoubtedly been.
