for a friend. he's going to a Bright Eyes show tomorrow and didn't really know the music. it probably won't get there in time, but I still hope he likes it anyway. this was a very hard mix to make for some reason; perhaps the pressure of picking good Bright Eyes songs; all I can say is that these flowed with the vague theme :) - oh yeah, the image is a tweaked image from explodingdog.com. I made it darker to go with the theme mostly.

I LOVE the artwork with this. Very cool. I'm not familiar with most of these groups (besides Trail of Dead, Bright Eyes, and Of Montreal). From looking at your other mixes, I can tell you're a big fan of the white papers. Never heard of 'em. What are they like? -Matt
Thank you :) the artwork is credit to Sam of explodingdog though; all I did was tweak the colours :D the white papers is a local group - I hadn't heard of them till my friend (who's in Balikbayan) emailed me sayin' I'd like them; this was before we were good friends, so I didn't think much into it till he brought the promo disc over. I ordered it in May and it is GREAT! six tracks of goodness :) you can buy it at insound.com (in the annex under the search 'ojet' - the label they're on) if you're interested or if you want, I can make you a mix.

There isn't much to much on my mix list here. I've got some other stuff, though. Or you can just choose one from the very short list (I'm gonna make it get bigger in the next few months). Okay, that sounded weird.
