Comment:
so, i havent slept a wink, having attempted to study for a huge test i have in an hour or so, and the sun is just coming up, peering through the fog. and, these songs convey my various feelings at the moment... tired, lonely, delirious, etc... possibly could work for a rainy day as well.Feedback:
and my apologies to the rolling stones for ever calling them overrated...
Great mix, Rob. Maybe we should trade sometime. I'm glad you've come around on the Stones. :-)
this looks good
good stuff and good luck
thanks yo.. but, so you know, i completely bombed the test... ah well. and yeah rob, i'm currently working on another phish single artist comp that you might like. ha ha ho ho and hee hee. in all seriousness though, i really would like to trade with you sometime
goods songs:ohia. the rolling stones can still be over-rated in my estimation. they should stop. nice pleasant stuff.
well, i thought the same after seeing them live twice and only getting greatest hits shows ... i think i would puke if i heard them play 'satisfaction' again..... thats where the overatedness comes in.... some of the hits just dont compare to, say, anything on 'exile on main st.'
It always drives me crazy each time the Stones tour and folks who know that they're my second-favorite band are shocked to find out that I'm not going to see them (I've never seen them.) What they don't understand is that I wouldn't go to see the Stones (or Paul McCartney, for that matter, who's my favorite single person in music history) precisely because they *are* my second-favorite band and they've absolutely sucked for at least 20 years...
I saw the Stones in Chicago last month. They were absolutly incredible, and thats ignoring the fact that they are well over the hill. They may have not recorded anything worthwhile for the past 20 years, But they still know how to rock!!!! BEST LIVE BAND EVER!!!
