Comment:
The other bookend for the aforementioned "Detractor Pull". The name comes from an exit sign on Interstate 495 in Massachusetts; I'd always liked the way the names of the towns complemented one another. Also, it's a sign I only see on vacation. I'd considered putting "Your Woman" and "Winchester Cathedral" on the same cassette-- a pretty natural segue-- and reasoned that by putting them on separate mixes, one tape would automatically conjure the other. Having the song, "Palo Alto", and the group, Paloalto, represented here cements the relationship.Feedback:
