Comment:
As we left or story, Kermit and Johnny had just defeated the Devil (Mick Jagger) and freed Scarlet from her contempt in Hell. We pick up the story at midnight, on a starry fall evening in a very rural area in central Georgia.Side 1: Kermit, Johnny, Scarlet and Fonzie are driving through the night and into a beautiful sunset in the beautiful hills of Georgia. They are driving through a place called "Kensington Manor" where the people live by the motto that "it all makes sense tonight." You see, the Kensington people live their lives at night, like most live during the day. They claim that there is just something about the night time. There is more magic around and thus more creative energies. The night brings a beautiful Harvest Moon, and following in tradition, a night of worship is to begin. The head Kensingtonian, Robert Randolph, explains to the travelers the benifits of "spiritual wading" and invites them to join in the soul clensing ritual. The festivites go on all night and a prayer on the dock of the bay ends the activities and all go retire to their respective quarters for the day. Kermit and Scarlet's relationship hasn't been all that good lately, seeing as there hasn't been much "damsel in distress" situations lately. She questions everything about him, the relationship and mostly herself. She dreams of a river to skate away on and eventually leaves the foursome one day in search of some new inspiration. Kermit awakens to find her gone with a note on the bed explaining the situation. In sadness he goes to the local bar and is comforted by Rolph the Dog, explaining that something better will surely come along.
Side II: Kermit begins to miss his mother and father at home, as well as his friends. He sends them a letter telling them he hopes to be home soon and that he loves them. He and Johnny and Fonzie decide to hit the road again. They run into a traveling circus act and soon join. But something extremely terrifying happens. A musical group called "The Monkees" also tour with the freak show and the three are so mortified with the chripiness and general mannerisms of the group that they are filled with a sense of disgust and must proceed on the road to find out. They stumble into a dark and creepy wood where they hear strange pig noises. A feeling familiar to them begins to creep in. The feeling that something is watching them. Familiar eyes are seen sporatically. Sure enough, the Devil has come back to Georgia for revenge on Johnny and the two fight a great duel, one far better than any of their previous ones. Johnny comes out victorious and has seemingly beaten the Devil once and for all. They think about going back to the the circus, but decide otherwise. They continue their journey, to where they don't know, and Kermit sings about how "someday the most beautiful girl" will look at him "and think he's weird." To be continued...

Oh my gosh, this is so stunningly cool. The idea alone would be enough warrant for my admiration, but added to the fabulous music you've chosen, it's almost too much. :)
Hey, thanks, man. If you'd ever like to trade, all you've got to do is whistle. :)
commet: I think the Kermit the Frog Opera is one of the oddest and most random stories to this date; partly because of the complexity of the characters and also because of the complexity of the music surrounding the story. I offer you this, if chip chirpie were in the story, perhaps it could be a lot better. I believe that once in a while someone must give in or give up something to create something useful. So maybe, just maybe, if Kermit were to suggest something strange, the car would roll of the hill faster. Just think about that man!
This is really good. I would really like to hear it instead of reading it!:)Send me a copy. Maybe something better will come along; maybe not. Keep up the good work! I'm proud of you.
Chip Chirpie thinks that this mix rules the world of mixes minus actually being a mix. Philosphically it's not a mix, but a situation told through a situation to a situation. I think that if so many people listened to this, they would get a kick out of mixing the situation, not the actual mix. So once again, I offer you this....Chip Chirpie strikes again with vengence...
