Comment:

Along with the Enron debacle, one of the greater crimes of the past 50 years is the lack of ultra-mega platinum status for Ms. Williams. I tried to include some rare tracks, compilation contributions, etc. It leans a little too heavy on "Car Wheels" but thats my favorite disc of hers. By the way, if anyone already like Lucinda, I HIGHLY suggest checking out Kasey Chambers who has two superb CD's and a whole lot of great b-sides (covers of Crowded House, Ben Harper, Son Volt, and others) floating around. Country-rock women get me everytime!

Very nice. If you haven't heard it yet, check out her duet with Terry Allen doing "Room to Room."

STARPUSH-Just looked at your past mixes and see some similar taste here. I have been listening to Buddy Miller lately and likeing his stuff.Had been fan of Beth Ortons past music but big disapointment in her latest release.Just heard Jack Johnson CD and really like it..Let me know what you think.

I saw her at Gruene Hall (self-proclaimed oldest dancehall in Texas!)not long ago and she was great. Well worth the dinero. I second Mo on "Room to Room." I've been dying to use it in a mix.

Lucinda Williams wouldn't be Lucinda Williams if she sold millions of CD's. All those years of slugging it out on the road is what makes her so great. If she sold millions she'd be Sheryl Crow.

If Sheryl Crow had an ounce of fucking talent, she'd be as interesting as Lucinda Williams' toenail, you fucking dolt (by the name of Holland). Anyhow, nice mix.
