before my 'Moment of Clarity' aged 11, when i discovered music for myself, i used to raid my parents small but varied l.p. collection. since then, i've got hold of several of my favourites of that time and the mix you see before you is a collection of those. there's no small amount of stalin-esque revisionism here, of course - i also listened to john denver, carole king and 'sgt pepper' back then but some things are best left behind. and i wish i'd brought my dad's l.p. of the moon landing with me when i left home, as its an absolute mine for samples. don't know what i'll do with this mix now, guess it'll sit on the shelf until i next feel nostalgic...
