Comment:

The popular Mix of the Week series continues! This one is slightly more conceptual- it begins and ends with the same song (the Buffalo Tom cover coming from the new _Fire & Skill_ tribute album), plus, it contains a ten-minute medley of sorts ("Thunderstorm"), which I guess Matthew couldn't just call "Whoopass Power Pop Megamix!!". Oh, yeah, and Sellout Hits!! by a couple of elo, uh, emo kiddies (and some punk ones) fit in nicely. Cheap Trick reference intentional. Be sure to check out the other seven volumes, and let me know if you'd like to consider trading. Not to be all tootin' my own horn, but this is my art, man.

Other covers: Jackson Browne's "Somebody's Baby", the Beatles' "Because". From _Good Will Hunting_ and _American Beauty_, respectively. Both (dare I say it) better than the originals.
