made for the guy i like.. it's based around the two "hallelujah"s; he asked me to make him a mix with that song on it and then add songs that were "atmospheric". a lot of these songs really mean something to me or have at one point or another. there's a strong emphasis on the classic rock (that's what he really likes) but i tried to add some newer artists, too. the title is a line from the play we're both in that he has to say to me..Feedback:
don't forget the original Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen and the version that Jeff covered by John Cale. Love the name, BTW!
i gave it to him yesterday and he said today that he did notice that neither of these were the versions in 'shrek' (i'm pretty sure the john cale version is in the movie, but the wainwright cover is on the soundtrack). his favorite was the buckley version, though.
