Comment:
The Mammoth Music Mart is an annual Chicago charitable event. This year marks the twenty fifth & final year. Each year, for as long as I can recall attending, I've made a cassette mix highlighting my top purchases. Maybe I'll be visiting the WFMU show next year to fill the void.Feedback:
Wonderful. Sorry to hear MMM is no more. If you do make it east for the WFMU show, look for me, I'll be the one (sic) in glasses and a WFMU t-shirt ;-o
Wow, man. This is super.
once upon a time (in the eighties) i got a band called Metal Mean Machine and that's what MMM stands for in my town BTW cool mix
Great stuff lo-fi! The Sensational AHB always seems to befit a music mart find...
Great, though I'd have preferred if you'd done it on CD. :)
What Sean said.
This looks really good, lo-fi.
Great Sabbath and Harper picks.
Sorry to hear the end of the MMM event. I try to hit the WFMU event as often as possible. Perhaps I should organize some kind of AOTM get together around one the WFMU events.
what a haul. Nice mix, too bad the WFMU event is so far away...
Some great songs here. Nice mix.
you picked up a few good things on this trip, Jim. I really like the Amboy Dukes and Kinks pix.
i like CASETTA's idea...i need to go to events like this...great stuff lo-fi.
Looks like a great take this year.
a whole lot of great stuff!
Looks great.....The Love Generation, is it the 60s sunshine californian band? Have you heard the sundazed cd? Is it worth checkin out? Nice tape, including both Black sabbath & Jimmie Rodgers!
