Comment:

Somewhere between the local pub and the Coliseum, Irish rockers amped up their Marshall stacks to 11, and they aren't [i]ever[/i] looking back. We can't fault you if you don't immediately think "Ireland" when the subject of grindcore comes up, but Honey For Christ cranks the aggro-meter to Ministry-esque levels in a pedal-through-the-floorboards shotgun marriage of evil and eviler in "Satan & Swastika." As long as we're poking into the seamy underbelly of the doom-death scene, Mourning Beloveth body-slam a fuzz-wracked sledgehammer right into the meaty bits of "The Mountains Are Mine," complete with the kind of alien-like growls and groans that make a Wes Craven flick seem like [i]Bambi[/i] by comparison. And Putrefy uncork a megadose of ultra-violence in the GWAR-meets-Magma assault of the cheerily titled "T**s, C***s and Hacked Off Bits."
