I had made a Donnie Darko mix right after seeing the movie, but I wasn't quite happy with it. So I decided to make this one.'Never Tear Us Apart' was in the original cut of the film, and 'West End Girls' was the song Richard Kelly had originally wanted to use for the Sparkle Motion Scene. I thought the songs added to the end kind of rounded it out and would have fit well with the movie, although I did repeat artists :\..But this is one of my first submitted mixes, so be gentle...Feedback:
hmmm. Donnie Darko - almost too good a film really; i never trust something i like that much on first inspection... I am impressed that you had the brain power to generate a mix after the film, as i was too light headed to do anything but sort of wander around and just... digest, i guess. (in my defence i did go to a late show). this mix is full of good things, movie relevant or not, though i am more than vaugley bemused by your insider knowledge of soundtrack decisions. neat.
I keep meaning to see this movie...

Erin the song selection is excellent, you did it great!...I saw the movie this weekend and I looked around for a soundtrack in the web but the original score doesn't have mostly of the cool songs from the movie. If you are selling or trading this mix I would be really interesting. Let me know.
