Comment:

i've always wanted to make a 'genre-defining' compilation, in the same way that warp's artificial intelligence did, and this is the closest i've got. there's been a recent surge in the use of guitars (sampled and real) in electronic music, so i've bitten the bullet and put the best on a single disc. i've approached it like i was putting together a 'proper' release too, with a couple of recognisable names to the casual browser, a few obscure artists for the trainspotter, and generally a mix of the good stuff for any listener who wants to explore this genre. i'm happy to send this to anybody who wants to give it a spin, as soon as i get the artwork sorted out - trust me, this is a good listen.
