I have mixed feelings about the Motley Crue song: Yeah, it's there because I used to air guitar to it at my summer job, but Vince Neil's adenoidal yelping doesn't sound as musical as it used to. If it came near the end of the tape I could have just gone over it. Where it is, it's not worth the effort. It's turned into a speed bump. The remainder of the mix has a stop-and-start, lurching quality. Some of my other tapes are "naturals" but I feel like I have to meet *this* one halfway.
