Comment:

Thank god I've finally got a CD burner in my own home. And so, it begins with this, a mix I made for my friend Cole (and Stasi) who works at a radio station in Farmville, VA. She listens to a lot of emo-tinted indie rock, stuff like Death Cab for Cutie and Engine Down. This is the first of what will probably be several mixes I make for her before mailing them off. Turns out, all I have are 74 minute CDs, but if this were an 80 minute CD, I'd have also included Jim O'Rourke's "Life Goes Off" as the final track.

How beautiful this looks! I love the title, obviously--and I can now say that I love that Trembling Blue Stars song, because it's on one of the CDs you sent me. I just finished packaging yours and will be sending them to you tomorrow, along with a huge letter of apology. Heh.

Great choices from the Lilys, Mazarin and the Go-Betweens. I imagine the rest of this is pretty terrific
