Comment:
just a mix to put me to sleep over these quickly approaching winter months [it snowed today]. quite a few cuts were made to this before making this, and i'm considering taking out the second aas track... but i don't know which tune to replace it with. i cut "angel in the snow" by elliott smith (which is where the title came from), "waiting on an angel" by ben harper, "little trouble girl" by sonic youth, "holiday in spain" by the counting crows, "icicle" and "winter" by tori amos, "winter is coming" by elf power, and "a light so dim" by the black heart procession. i also wanted tunes by songs: ohia, nick drake, karate, ryan adams, beck, interpol, arab strap and sigur ros on here but alas, nothing too fitting. they'll just be on another sleepytime mix of mine later on i guess. i do not like this title, but meh, it's just a title right? don't judge a book by its cover.Feedback:
love the theme, love the bands. crap. I love the mix.
love the title too
great work! love the leonard cohen, both editions of "the lonest winter," especially julie doiron's. but why cut elliott smith? are you trying to start a fight, mister? heh. (still lovely, regardless of elliott smith.)
there's a sigur ros song called the christmas song.
hey, i like this.
