Comment:
This is kind of the version two of my last mix tape. This is in a more listener friendly order and the songs flow well together I think. This is being given to a girl who I've fallen in love with over the past year. She doesn't know this. I'm thinking this might get the message across (all she needs to do is look at the titles). Also, there are some strange songs here. At Your Funeral may seem a bit morbid for a romance tape, but... I don't know. It works surpringly well.
The main reason there is so much Dashboard here is because I was originally just going to lend her So Impossible because she's never heard them before. But I got bored and decided to mix in some other tracks she might like. So I'm kinda killing 42 birds with one stone. And also, Dashboard rock!
Feedback:
beautiful!!
this will work wonders, I promise you. hats off to you for both creating something goregous and for giving it to someone. I love the song flow on this....all girls could only hope they would get tapes like this...
Some good stuff here, and love the title - from a great song...
DUDE! I'm in this exact same situation right now! I met the girl in sixth grade, liked her a lot, contemplated asking her out my senior year but found out she already had a boyfriend who was a complete douche (hung out with him one time after graduation and it turns out he's okay once you get to know him). Now she's at a different college than me on the other side of the state and we've been talking quite a bit, but she has another new boyfriend who I haven't met. We talk pretty much every single night and she has no idea that I'm absolutely in love with her, and neither did I until recently. I feel like I completely blew it by never bringing it up in high school.
The ironic part about this is that both "Just Watch The Fireworks" and "If You Don't, Don't" as well as "Kill" by Jimmy Eat World are on the playlist I just sent her with intentions to "introduce her to songs that changed my life" when in reality I'm just using music to indirectly tell her I love her. Jimmy Eat World definitely speaks volumes about these kinds of situations.
