this is one of the old crazy ass Moss Ave. mixes... it comes down to also being what's called a Jose & Timmy D comp... more me makin' something FOR US but say it's for the party that weekend and get away with it... track one is the last hidden track from Johnny Socko's "Full Trucker Effect" LP, and basically it's an extended Damon's Lament, calling him Demon Hooter is an injoke... Gloria is a short clip from Track 13 on They Might Be Giant's "Misc T" comp... Farmer Ted is a few lines from the movie "16 Candles" a favorite of most of the people we'd batter with... this comp is about 3 years old, from when i lived in the Crestwood Estates on Moss Avenue in Peoria IL for the Summer, it was the first time i lived someplace other than my folk's house, crazy parties every other weekend... most of the time i was jobless livin' off my savings and lookin' for a what i wanted to do for a living... the best parties were awesome at the Moss Ave apt, it lives in legend... man i'm glad i found this mix today!
