Comment:

This is a kickin' power pop mix i made a couple years ago. The title comes from a seminal Flamin' Groovies track that, for some reason, is missing from the mix.

Super great. Clearly the Groovies song belongs here, especially the newly released "demo" version that blows the album version away. Good stuff.

As a world class Flamin' Groovies aficianado, I agree that the demo version is even better than the album version, still a fab tune. It is cool it finally has made it's way to legit release (available on the CD Slow Death on Norton Records). I have had that as a prized nugget for years and the story behind using the Capital Records studio to cut it is pretty funny as well. Lots of good stuff on this mix.

Always love the power of pop. Haven't checked, but this could be The Hudson Brothers first AotM appearance.
