Inspired by a CD I got from Thomas Mohr called German girls, this is the Swedish version called Svenska flicka (= Swedish girl)and this is my little small wedding present to ION , who we all know love girls ;), hopefully he likes it. It cover from the sixties (Plommons, NQB and Monica Zetterlund) to brand new powerpop like Marit Bergman and Parker

I can't say I know any of these "Svenska flickas" either.., but I'm sure Ion will appreciate the gesture. After all, what's not to like about flickas..?!!!
Looks just wonderful. The only flicka I know here is Anita Lindblom (from your hometown, dood) who also recorded German versions of "Cigarettes" and some of her other hits ("La¯ die Liebe aus dem Spiel", "Schade um die Nacht", "Danke sch÷n"). I'd love a copy of this asap. P.S.: I had no idea that Ingmar Bergman mov-, er, sorry, films were advertised with trashy posters such as this one in his homeland. Hmmm. Maybe "Vargatimmen" was a comedy after all, at least by Swedish standards. :)P.P.S.: You and Mike trade Clapton(???!!!) discs? 3P.S.: Fangs for the credit. I appreciate that.

Wonder if Thomas Mohr have the complete Unplugged version with Eric Clapton....I heard it was a 6 cd-box set in a deluxe edition...with 100 postacrds and 50 stickers!

What most don't know is the Swedes have devised an effective way to overtake us all and without the use of violence or force. God Bless 'em. Think about it. Attractive women. Get us hooked on cell phone communication (Nokia). Get America and UK hooked on shows like Trading Places and drive them to IKEA. Then churn out swell music. IT WORKS. I surrender.
