Comment:

The mix captures the feeling of facing a long, cold winter alone, while your ex lives an exciting new life in a new city. The mix was named after an Elf Power song, however, that song isn't on the mix. Go figure. Pretty downbeat, but strangely soothing. I love how Deado trails off into nothing to end the mix.

Looks promising, though why so many repeats? Sorry, I nitpick. The two songs that I know, "Here" and "Miss Misery" are both good picks anyway. Peace out.

Nice. Funny how almost everybody (myself included) feels it necessary to include "Fight Test," one of the catchiest ditties of the year. Oddly enough, when I saw your title I thought it was going to be an Elf Power mix, and was a bit confused until I read your comments.

In response to the Little Raven: This mix is a mood piece, rather than an attempt to show off my diverse record collection (I make plenty of those, as well). I just felt that the repeated artists (Pavement, Liz Phair, Elliott Smith, Spoon) really epitomized the mood I was going for. A bit of trivia: This mix was constructed around the Built to Spill song, "Made Up Dreams."
