i'm a virgin art-of-the-mixer, and i have to say...what a pleasant feeling it was to contribute...but, at the same time, it was a tiny bit terrifying. Maybe not "terrifying" but at least awkward. I mean, you think you know what you're listening to, you have some kind of vague category to put it in...then you come here and make your mix and you're actually asked to choose a category and you realize that the category you thought it could be under is simply "personal taste of what's great at the moment"...so you guess one, out of the tons that are there...blindly maybe...and you hope that it's right and that people won't look at your mix and think "huh?". I don't know. I guess what i'm trying to say is i'm not a category girl...and so is this mix even indie?
