Comment:

For my friend Michelle. My CD burner is broken and I am broke, so I've been unable to make mixes or burn my overdue trade for Rob, or my Bright Eyes primer for Poserlad. But in one stroke of genius, Michelle still listens to tapes! So this is for her. IIHEMC is my boyfriend's music project, whose new songs she hasn't heard. There are two Will Sheff fronted bands here, Okkervil River and Shearwater... But they are local and she still hasn't heard them, so this acts as an invitation to come to future shows with me. I like this tape quite a bit.

Perhaps I can get my mix before next April? :-) (I'm kidding. I believe that you're not stiffing me, Ms. Burton.) Nice one, as always... and good luck with both the cash scenario and your burner.

Good mix. I really do like Okkervil River. That band actually got me to start going out on the town to see live shows. You should also check out the Johnny Cash version of Will "Palace" Oldham's 'I See A Darkness'. I actually almost cried the first time I heard that song. Kudos on the mix.
