Comment:

volume 20. basically a pink floyd single artist mix, made with the contents of the shine on box set (purchased sometime in the early 90s.) It's sad, but that bonus singles disc is probably my favorite disc in the set. Pixies are next.

You own too little Pavement. They happen to be the most prolific band in my collection even after I sold Off Watery Domestic and the Trigger Cut single (being that they're now on my Slanted & Enchanted two-disc). Get the S&E two disc, get Wowee Zowee, get happy.

yeah i know. i just can't bear to part with the post "dark side" ones and break up the set though. if this is the worst part of my CD collection (and i think it is) then i am a lucky man indeed...

I dunno. The last Pink Floyd album I own on any format at this point is "Dark Side", although I think "Wish You Were Here" is okay (I just never, ever need to hear it again). But from "Animals" on I pretty much hate them. Again, this is my opinion, stated only for discussion purposes...

The best thing about the Wall is Luther Wright and the Wrongs' country cover of the whole thing. But "Animals"..... I don't know. I think I have a little fondness for it.

Oh, I wanted to say that your picks for all of the pre-Wall Floyd stuff would almost completely match my own from those records (although I would probably opt for "Fat Old Sun" over "If").

People cry about Pink Floyd and then.....ah never mind, let me tell you a little story about something I did today. I was making some noodles and instead of eating them just like they came out of the package, I threw them into some boiling H2O and they became softer and more fun to eat. At that point I ate them with a fork.
