Comment:

(31) Rotary Connection - Silent Night; (32) Beatles - "They'd like to thank you ..." Santa's smoking reefers? A turkey's dancing on Grandma's head?? The Beach Boys just transformed into the Muppets??? Jim Morrison wants to do WHAT to Rudolph???? And Mojo Nixon is ... HEY, LEGGO OF MY WIFE! Well gang, this can only mean that IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME AGAIN! 79:58 of Christmas insanity. Put this one on after the kiddies have gone to bed ... unless you are the kiddies ... (in which case, wait until your parents have gone to bed). Many thanks to the Amazing Stupendous Valis for the groovy cover. The numerous Beatles tracks are short excerpts from their annual Fan-Club Christmas Messages. Merry XXXmas, and Bob dress us every one.

Nice. Check out my two-volume Christmas mix from last year ("And oh they did rejoice, fine and pure of voice" and "It was Christmas outside"). I think you'll find that we took a similar approach. :-)

Awesome. The best treatment of Xmas music is one that hold no reverence for the season - after all, it has given us some of the crappiest holiday music. I love this.
