With his experience at ministering to a congregation, Donnie McClurkin knows that it's easier to get close to the Lord with a little help from your friends. McClurkin makes his home at the crossroads of gospel and R&B, so it's only natural for him to call on both Yolanda Adams and sacred-soul sisters Mary Mary to aid in the ascension on "Lift Him Up." Seventies soul-jazz stars the Crusaders help to keep the fires of faith burning when McClurkin feels "A Healing Coming On."
