It's such a gamble when you get a face
Comment:
80 minutes from my favorite NYC punk figure. Yeah, I know that Blank Generation is featured more or less in its entirety... but really, what could I eliminate? :-)Feedback:
I want this. great stuff as ever, Rob
yeah, yeah... i'm feeling this :)
You really like him more than Johnny Thunders? Well, maybe I should listen to this. I always he thought he was just a tad overrated.
overated ? you gotta be kiddin'

as a fellow huge fan of mr. hell's, couldn't agree more. 'you gotta lose' is perhaps my favorite track - i like the studio version b-side of 'blank generation' best for the peerless quine freakout. wanna hear a wild hell rarity? try to chase down 'the reverend hell gets confused' ('i'm getting a blowjob; at least i think i'm getting a blowjob') on the spoken word LP 'better a new god than an old demon'. amen.
To Sean: Yes, I do. It's Mr. Thunders, to me, who was always a tad overrated (I mean, really, how many times can we repackage the exact same songs, with thorougly inconsistent results?), even though I love him. To Eric: I have that track, thanks to you via lo-fi. :-) It's on the "If I find my keys, we can both drive outta here!" mix that he and I did last year.
this looks awesome- have you seen the film 'blank generation'? After seeing that all I want to do is marry that man...
Yeah, I saw it a couple of weeks ago, as a matter of fact. Although I can't say that I felt the same urge that you did, antbabe, it did prompt me to listen to more of Richard's stuff again and thus make this mix.
