A Texas girl sighs for a colder place. Longs to be in a well-heated car with snowflakes swirling, falling, melting on the windshield like delightful tears. (title from the Yaz track) This mix is for a boy I know.

Great Snow Patrol song, great Elliott Smith song... as far as David Usher is concerned. I prefer the stuff off of "Little Songs."

I agree that "Litle Songs..." is a much stronger album than "Morning Orbit." But "Black Black Heart" was the very first song I ever heard by David Usher (or Moist, for that matter), so it has a special place in my (black black) heart.

i was looking through some of your mixes and realized that this was the first mix i ever saw on this website. i had been trying to figure out which one it was. when i first found this site i was browsing and saw this mix and was like, whoa! so if you ever look back on my mixes and notice that i used any of these songs, it's because i downloaded the whole thing on kazaa (anything i didn't already have) and burned it to a cd. (i wasn't real sure how the website worked at that point.) ha, just thought i'd share....
