Something I put together for a friend's upcoming 40th birthday. (It's a landmark an increasing number of friends are approaching, so I'll probably be making a few of these; fortunately, my own is still a few years off.) I went for a primarily slow-to-midtempo hopeful-melancholia kinda mood; perhaps predictably (though I didn't really focus on it until I burned the thing), this resulted in a disproportionate number of breakup songs. Oh well.
