Selah has always had a Three Musketeers-type of musical agenda, but that doesn't mean the members of the trio haven't done a little moonlighting too. On his own, Todd Smith busts out of the band's ballad-based style, getting loud and proud on the raging rocker "Lukewarm." Allan Hall's solo sojourn finds him digging into his country roots, with a cover of Emmylou Harris' poignant, poetic "Prayer In Open D." But "all for one and one for all" always wins out in the end, and Selah's singers achieve something special together, especially when twining their voices around one another's for the percolating praise of "Sweet, Sweet Song of Salvation."
