Eighties leaning psych mix composed with helpful input (& cover art) from our friend from Frolix 8, Valis. An extract of human pineal gland toast to Dr. Lally for the Salvation Army & to Tapegasser for the Bevis Frond.

Satellite transmission beaming from Radio Free Albemuth for all you hipsters playing with your Perky Pat layouts...hey, it's always a party off-world here at Frolix 8! (Beats those crazy cases over on the Alphane Moon!)

Wow man, this looks great. Lots of faves, and lots of never-heards. Save me a copy, please? And I LOVE that Salvation Army track - the whole disc is pretty great, actually. And you can never listen to enough Galaxie 500.

Thanks y'all. The real genesis of this mix came about 'cause I wanted to transfer Jessamine's Sub Pop 7" to a CD. The packaging's a total pain to disassemble if you want to play it. Peter, the opener's taken from the soundtrack of Performance. A cool record. Besides the Randy Newman & Mick hits, you get a Last Poets track & a far out Jack Nitzchke arranged score.
