it started out as funkrock mix but i soon realise that it was just white artists trying to sound like their black heroes, listen without prejudices a lot of this artists use to be in my "hatebox" but it's groovy, it's funky and it's real fun to listen to it when you drinking ;), title from that T-shirt Lester Bangs used to have

Actually, I thought this would be another Lester tribute from the title. Great picks from Broughton & Blockheads. I dunno though, some of this (Blood, Sweat & Tears, for one) may still be in my hate file.

what a wild n' wooly assortment -- i second the props re: dury & broughton, and for the band and r & l thompson tracks too. (shit, if i'm honest, i even dig the hall & oates tune.)
