How it feels to know that you're not real
Comment:
80 of my favorite minutes from these Georgia-cum-Denver E6 popsters, with acknowledgment to popkulcher's fine volume posted a few months ago. Last tracks cut: "That's Something I Do" and "The Afternoon". Now I can sell off all of their stuff except for Fun Trick Noisemaker and The Discovery of a World Inside the Moone.Feedback:
Very nice Rob.
You really want to sell off most of their stuff? I find it all pretty solid, though I haven't enjoyed the newest release nearly as much as the last few.
Yeah, lots of fun, although I do love "Go," not represented here.
what, no Marbles?
This is an Apples mix, not a Marbles mix, Brandt...
Looks like a winning collection from these popsters. I'm afraid Brandt lost his "Marbles" ;)
Another great one. I need to update mine to incorporate the new album (though overall it's no great shakes, "Please" and "She's Telling Lies" are terrific; funny how you had a completely different take on the new album). And I'm with Brandt: I think the Marbles, Schneider's solo project, is fair game here, as the Apples' studio work is presumably largely Schneider as well.
I like the Marbles record a lot, but I view it as a separate entity, as it (for the most part) predates the Apples.
what all the guys said, Rob. Great work once again.
nice stuff, rob.
