Comment:
American 60s groups. Many of the songs here is all-time favs in their originals. Actually some of the cover versions here is favs too...esp Chocolate Watch Band, Blue Things and the LOVELY Flat Earth Society version of the Pickett/Cropper "In the midnight hour", It's a very slow thing, sounds like Velvet Underground on their 3rd album. Tha last tune here is Bohemian Vendetta, their version of Jagger/Richards "Satisfaction" is really weird, very fuzzy and freak out psychedelic guitars and much slower than the original, sounds like they smoke a lot of hashish before recorded it:-DFeedback:
this looks incredible, i've only heard one of these & i'd love to hear the rest!
Great job!
im with calumon on this...im a big fan of 60's garage bands but i haven't heard a lot of these versions. sounds awesome!
Great stuff Mike.
Nice. I want this one someday... maybe when we trade in 2005. ;-)
Great picks. Are there any of these versions you like better than the originals?
Hell Yes Rob....I can't wait till our 100 cd trade in 2005;-)
Sean I prefer both Chocolate watch band & Sunshine company's versions! Maybe Flat earth society too;)
Very nice.
Hidden underside of the pops? Very intriguing -- almost all unknowns to me
but all versions I'd like to hear.
