Comment:
There are, of course, many more monkey related songs out there. I just couldn't bring myself to include, say, the Foo Fighters, Bush, or George Michael. Not that there's anything wrong with them...
Feedback:
just go to "my art of the mix" and then go to "update a mix" and then add the freakin song!
i refuse to go quietly!
really good!
Hehe, wow, I'm actually making a monkey theme mix a a X-mas present for someone right now! Will post it tonight when it's done...
Ha. Nice. Glad the Fabs got your attention. If you feel up to it, you should go for the Stones' "Monkey Man"--one of my personal favorite tunes of theirs, actually.
I am a Beatles fan and therefore will not put the Stones on the same mix.
Nice! Always great to see a creatively-themed mix on AOTM. Particluarly like that Jurassic 5's track made the cut.
Um, "Monkey Gone To Heaven," by The Pixies. You HAVE to have that on there.
minus the bear is so rad.
Hockey Monkey by the Zambonis is another fun monkey song. This mix rules!
The Beatles are my favorite band; the Stones are my second-favorite band. Why can't they co-exist on one mix?!
You missed Ryan Adams' "boys" where he likens his melancholy to that of a monkey taught to destroy everything it enjoys. But otherwise.. So thorough.
