From such acorns grow the mighty oaks of our tape archives; this is my Ur-mix, from 1984. Full of stylistic gaffes: Too much reliance on The Cars, ready-made segues straight from record, gaping spaces between songs. But hey, when's the last time you heard "White Mice" or "Time Machine"?!? Some time ago I amended Side A by lengthening Nazareth and shortening Foghat but I unwittingly dropped Midnight Oil's "Read About it" for The Band. A good trade but MO deserves better.
