Under the moniker Boards of Canada, Scottish electronic experimentalists Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin — who are brothers — have woven thematic obsessions with numerology, nostalgia and subliminal communication into a potent sonic mix, using analogue and digital sources to genuinely mind-expanding effect.
