Comment:
not just one theme kids...but a duel theme. not only is this a "december" mix...it's a december in australia mix featuring all australian music...unless, i've accidently slipped something OS in, but i don't think i have. this does the whole december in australia i can't bear to have christmas thing. it's too hot and oppressive (running around the white picket fence) one minute, then freezing cold the next (single perfect raindrop). there are bushfires (sirens), cricket (victor trumper). beach in the day time (bombora) and never ending bogan pubs/ cess pools (cheap wine) in the evenings. i think this one's okay-ish. i like that australianess of it. a little nationalistic pride now and then never hurt anyone...well, actually it did. but hey, i'm being moderate. do you see me kowtowing to johnnie?? nope. and you won't any time soon. oh...also, the "pub poem" as featured in the idiot box is as follows..."you are an idiot, you are a bitch, you shit me to tears, i'm goin' down to the pub"Feedback:
Happy holidays (and a happy birthday next Tuesday, if I don't get the chance to e-mail you), Ms. Rosie.
Rosie, can I just say: you f*ckin' rock. Sweet mixes, awesome range, and it's your birthday. Girl, you got it goin' on.
very nice, rosie. as far as tali's new band goes, i've heard a bit of it (on rtr-fm, natch) but i haven't purchased the disc yet. i may well do so in the future.
oh, and i forgot to say "happy freakin birthday"! i'm sure you had a rockin time.
