Comment:

Complain about ska, go ahead. Complain that they're too silly, too goofy, whatever. These guys rule. A favorite of mine ever since the release of "Upbeats and Beatdowns", this CD chronicles my favorites songs that got left behind, the songs that everyone seemed to forget about once the next cd came about. Well, maybe not "A Flowery Song" or "Superpowers" or "Suckerpunch", or the ones from Electric Bugaloo, but still. This is good stuff. I could make this a two cd set very easily.

Sweet. I saw FIF in concert last year and they were really cool. The only problem was that it was overrun with 12 year olds, but I guess that's not their fault. I personally would've thrown "Oh Canada" on here too, but that's just me. ;)

Yeah, but everyone knows "Oh Canada". This is a mix of the songs that are really good, but I think everyone kinda forgot about.

i'm not a big fan of litmus, but most everyone else i know likes it, so it may just be me. i would have replaced that with old west. but you have giants and my evil plan. so that more than makes up for it.

good mix.

Russ! okay, I'm terribly sorry I haven't kept in contact with you as of late. I just wanted you to know that yes I AM still making your Radiohead tape. and as soon as I get more blank tapes tomorrow, I will get right on it. I'm so sorry! I didn't want you to think I'd forgotten. For I surely have not.

reminds me of a rather unusual FIF-lovin ex boyfriend, but it reminds me of the best times i had with him, and how i came to hear of the band. excellent mix-but i might have added These Are Not My Pants...but it's not my cd.

These are not my pants is highly amusing, but a bit long for the cd I wanted to make. (It is nine tracks or so, after all.)

It is truly sad that they have announced their official end to the band after the year of 2003. These guys are absolutely awesome. Every single song on this mix is a gem!

I know, but luckily I will get to see them at least once (maybe twice) this summer. Woo! Happy times.

I just don't think you can have a Five Iron Frenzy mix without "Every New Day." Just don't seem natural. But it's a good mix anyway.
